About

11755856_10101915444251418_323643898692667449_nMy name is Ryan Smith and I am a Spanish teacher and a lifelong learner. I received my undergraduate degree from Oakland University in history and Spanish language. I completed my education program at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. While I worked on my teaching certification I was hired to teach Spanish at Hoke County High School in Raeford, North Carolina as a part of North Carolina’s alternative route to teaching program. After two years of teaching in Raeford I was hired to teach Spanish at Murray High School in Murray, Utah where I spent another two years. Next, I spent one year teaching Spanish at Timpanogos High School in Orem, Utah. I am currently teaching Spanish in my home state of Michigan at Clarkston High School. I am nearly finished with my Master of Arts in Educational Technology from Michigan State University. I hope to continue to grow as a teacher and leader and share my knowledge with colleagues!
